Testimonials

Thank you Donna for coming to Houston and giving the workshop on Waldorf and Home Schooling. Before you came I was struggling with the application of Waldorf ideals in real life. You gave us very practical information that I could use both for my home schooling but surprisingly also for other relationships. I especially appreciated the experience you brought that you gained from working with challenging situations such as the troubled youth and mentally and physically challenged. I needed to hear that this approach is not only for those who fit a certain mold, but also that it is very effective as a therapeutic tool for anyone. I am so much more relaxed and confident now. The workshop was like one big deep breath of relief. It is good to think of having your support next year since I plan on making use of the consultation package. Thank you again for all that you have done and I'm sure will continue to do.

Donna recently visited where she got us to relax and breathe about Waldorf in homeschooling and home life. I am going to toot Donna and Christopherus' horn here and say that if you get a chance to have her come, please do it. She is a wise and wonderful woman to know and has so much peace and knowledge to share.

I came away from the workshop this weekend with tons of new tools to help me better guide my daughter in her journey to awakening. I felt that the information that you gave us was priceless and gave us a new paradigm within which to frame our ideas of homeschooling and education in general. Your experience and knowledge of the Waldorf philosophy give you a confidence and ease of speaking that is very comforting to us who are just shifting into this mode of thinking. Thank you so much for coming out and offering us this opportunity.

As a homeschooling mother of 4 (soon to be 5) children with the oldest 6 1/2 yrs old, I have been anxious about how I would be able to infuse Waldorf into our homeschooling, and lives, without causing burnout for myself. The greatest gem that I took in from the workshop, is the idea (and real examples) of how to understand the principles and developmental aspects underlying the Waldorf curriculum, and blend them into your own life to create a unique experience of Waldorf in your home. I am just beginning on this homeschool path and have much to learn and experience, but I now feel more relaxed and confident about the journey.

Blessings, Kristina Kahney
