I live in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight and am planning to home
educate my two sons, born March 2004 and September 2006, using a Waldorf
style. We're quite non-mainstream, but not as non-mainstream as we'd like
to be, and we'd like to meet up with other people who want to bring their
children up using Waldorf principles, and who won't think we're strange
because we co-sleep, breastfeed beyond the first year etc!! We're all very
new to a non-mainstream lifestyle so are still finding our way, and would
welcome any new ideas to support us on our journey. Please email

My wife and I are Sunni Muslims and are
homeschooling our two boys in Queens, NY. Their ages are six and
four. I have MA in Criminology and wife has a MS in Education (Early
Childhood). We are trying to homeschooling our kids with pure things.
Nature, nurture, love, gentleness, kindness, prayer, acceptance of others,
etc. We don't allow our kids to generally watch tv, etc. Also, we eat pure
things - organic foods mostly. We are looking for ideally a male playgroup
at the beginning. Muslims with similar thinking are welcome, however other
parents with similar mindset please contact us. We refer to Islamic scholars
such as Shaykh Nuh Ha-Mim Keller (American convert), Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

Mornings Children: We are a
Waldorf-inspired group of homeschoolers on the eastside of Cleveland,
Ohio. Last year, we had two groups that met two days/week led by Waldorf
trained teachers: mixed grades 1-5, and preschool-kindergarten. Each group
met in a home. This year, the preschool-kindergarten will continue with the
same teacher and will be meeting in a church space. We are currently looking
for a grades teacher; if we don't find one, we will be organizing a
parent-led day of activities for the grades group. We will also be gathering
to prepare for and celebrate festivals and we have a Mom's handwork group.
We are a subgroup of a larger group of homeschooling families with lots of
shared ideas and activities. If you're interested in hearing more, contact
