The two God's Eyes are made with colored yarn wound around a cross of twigs. The wool weaving is made by stringing yarn across the crotch of the branch and then weaving short lengths of wool roving between the yarn.

This is either a tea-cosy or a hat! It is made out of felt and dyed wool roving. Don't forget the bell on top!

If you are well-organized, you can make this card by collecting a drying leaves and flowers in advance. Then, when they are ready, glue them on to painted paper cut into card size.

This window transparency was made by cutting out a piece of self-adhesive transparent plastic and sticking it to a pre-cut frame. The child can then simply stick on tissue paper shapes. Use a bit of glue stick to tidy any loose corners.

You can see more clearly in the enlarged picture that this moving picture was made out of heavy gauge painting paper.

You can buy ready-made heavy card boxes and Christmas ornaments from many craft stores and then paint them for gifts. If your child really enjoys painting objects, don't forget that stones are great fun to paint too!
