Farm Visits
|
Spring 2004, before we moved to
Viroqua, we hosted visits to our 'hobby farm'
from Twin Cities homeschooling families. The families arrived bright and
early in the morning so that they could participate in farm chores: together
we fed and watered animals, collected eggs and milked the goats. The visits
were a wonderful mixture of handling the animals and finding out what it
means to care for them, as well as work in the garden such as planting
potatoes. |
